THE KING NETFLIX CHOICE NUMBER 2

Hello ladies and gents this is the Viking telling you that today we are talking about this lovely film we have watched called 

THE KING

ENGLISH REVIEW

Lets start with what brilliant armour this movie has i'm not an expert in it but it looks realistic for the times can you imagine lugging the armour  around while fighting off some Scotsmen in a haircut that your mum must have cut it must have been difficult You forget how used Latin was its rather eye-opening. The plot revolves around how the King is war hungry and rather stupid in the long run but will our protagonist follow his lead?

You got to love a good metaphor  that this movie is filled with well that and some great one on one duels they need more knife play in my humble opinion. I do enjoy a movie that's the biggest star is the Villain but you do end up rooting for them a little bit not for long though. When you watch this movie because you will look out for the wind up bird can you imagine how advanced that is for 500 years ago only in Venice.

On a final note who can the king trust when he is out manned out gunned can he win the most important battle of the age? With a brilliant montage and a rarely seen war hammer.

REVIEW IN SPANISH

Pues... Estuvo bien, nada que no se haya visto ya y un poco predecible para mi gusto. Las actuaciones fueron lo que salva a esta película de ser aburrida e inclusive de poder caer en lo mediocre, todos los actores estuvieron muy bien. 

El guión es decente, la historia no se estanca o se siente lenta y pesada en ningún momento, los personajes están bien construidos y es fácil ponerse de su lado. También las relaciones que tienen unos con otros están bien hechas. Todos tienen personalidades diferentes y creo que no hay ninguno que me haya parecido plano o aburrido, además todos tienen motivaciones definidas. 

Ahora, mi problema con esta película es que desde antes de que llegáramos a los 20 minutos sabía cómo iba a terminar (vienen spoilers así que si la quieren ver por ustedes mismos dejen de leer) ¿El rey es estúpido? Apuesto a qué su hijo le va a interesar su pueblo y todo eso, ¿El hermano se va a la batalla? Sé que Hal lo va a salvar y se va a enojar, ¿La hermana le dice que tenga cuidado en la Corte? ¿Cuanto apostamos a que el consejero lo va a traicionar?, ¿Hay un supuesto asesino enviado por Francia? 

Mentira del diablo ¿que puto asesino confiesa porque si? (¿como puede ser que Hal sea tan estúpido? ¿¡¿NO TE PARECE QUE SI TE QUISIERAN MUERTO ENVIARÍAN A ALGUIEN UN POQUITO MÁS INTELIGENTE?!? 

Y lo peor fue que era todo mentira, o sea que también me molesta el estúpido que ideó ese plan de mierda, Sir William. NI SIQUIERA SE MOLESTÓ EN INVENTAR LA HISTORIA COMPLETA. Después de la guerra con Francia Hal le cuestiona sobre el supuesto asesino que encontraron y que inició toda la jodida guerra para empezar, y el pelotudo no sabe qué contestar cuando le cuestiona donde lo encontró. 

En conclusión: John Falstaff es el mejor personaje, el único con sesos en la cabeza, y el único personaje que me importa... ¡¡Y EL PUTO PARA COLMO SE MUERE!!

OK, perdón, sigamos con la reseña) ¿Su mejor amigo se va a la batalla? Se muere seguro (en una escena que por cierto me recuerda mucho a Battle of Bastards en Game of Thornes, excepto que aquí me dolió mucho más porque el personaje que está en riesgo, John Falstaff, si tiene una personalidad y si muere a diferencia de Jon Snow). 

Pero dentro de todo es una película buena, creo que se deja disfrutar y si te gusta este género te la vas a pasar bien.
