NETFLIX CHOICE NUMBER 4 VENOM

Hello ladies and gents this is the Viking telling you that today we are talking about

VENOM

This movie has been made by Sony lets see if you can do an anti-hero film with a lot of help from a lot of other studios it seems. I don't know about many people but it's nice to see a spacecraft NOT LAND IN THE U.S.A. and we are sticking with the non-white English immigrant bad guy well we do make good villains. Some great work by the filmographers and special effects people to they always impress me except the obvious need to say where world-famous stuff is aka San Francisco.

"I LOVE YOU TOO FEED THE CAT"

Do you think villains believe that they are doing the right thing? That would explain a lot to me at least I think we have a decent villain that is understandable I do feel that the movie could have been longer a few more establishing shots preferably on that beautiful motorbike. There is a lot of great sayings in this movie which includes this gem.

"KNOW ONE IS ABOVE THE NETWORK"

Throw in some snooping, some bad press for Jack Daniel's, some Triads with large ones and some biblical monologue and a "we create out own demons" which we do and the odd destruction of the polystyrene tree we have a decent origin story with magic pistols that shoot extremely far apparently. On a personal level i love the chase scene and some shittier lines break the tension all in all a worthwhile movie for a wednesday afternoon.

SPANISH REVIEW

Esta es la primera película de la franquicia y se nota. No lo digo de mala manera, pero las primeras películas de la mayoría franquicias tienen un cierto patrón y las de superheroes todavía más. Esto no es malo; funciona para establecer personajes, locaciones, relaciones, etc. 

En estas primeras películas puede pasar que el presupuesto no sea suficiente como para hacer todo lo que se quiere. En Venom por ejemplo, hay veces que el CGI, en mi opinión para nada profesional, se ve extraño. Pero se entiende y nunca es tan evidente como para que me saque de la película y me impida disfrutarla (aunque si se note que se gastaron todo en la batalla final) 

Es un poco predecible en algunas partes, y los villanos la verdad se me hacían tan débiles, aburridos y poco convincentes que nunca estuve realmente preocupada o me sentía particularmente inclinada a sentir simpatía por Eddie o Venom contra Charlton, Treece, y todos los demás. Porque simplemente no la necesitaban, sabía que iban a salir de todo sin problemas y lo más interesante fue ver la relación de Eddie con Venom a lo largo de la película. 

A pesar de todo me gustó, creo que si voy a ver la siguiente.
